Atlanta Civil Rights and Black History Driving Tour is one of the best tours have been on (and we go on a lot of tours)! Jeff is simply amazing! Born and raised in Atlanta, he intimately knows every square inch of the area where the tour takes place. We loved his passion for the historical and insights about the contemporary and future Black experience. The tour is peppered with lots of conversation s as bd numerous stops with lots of places to eat, shop, take pix, eat, gain knowledge of this wonderful city that is foundational to struggles for freedom.

Our guide, Omar, was very engaging. A true people person, and he was equally as informative. He even shared with us some of his favorite Atlanta restaurants. We took him up on one of them, the Busy Bee, and we were thoroughly pleased. The soul food there was the best we'd ever had, and to top our day off, hours later, Omar spotted us in Busy Bee's parking lot. He honked until he got our attention. We waved, and he waved back. He could've driven by not seeing us, not recognizing us and/or not bothering to acknowledge us even if he did see and recognize us. He made a point to give a farewell wave. That shows the kind of person he is. He made our tour fun and memorable.
