Full description

Explore some of classical Greece's most famous landmarks on a private 5-day tour. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Archaeological Site of Mycenae, Ancient Olympia, and the monasteries of Meteora. Discover Zakynthos Island and see its many caves on a day cruise.

On Day 1, get picked up by your driver then drive along the Attica coastline toward the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, making a stop at the famous Canal of Corinth to admire the breathtaking views along the way.

Later, stop at Nafplio and discover its iconic Venetian fortress of Palamidi, as well as the fortified islet of Bourtzi. Next, move on to the renowned ancient town of Mycenae to explore its archaeological site. Leave Mycenae after to arrive at Ancient Olympia for an overnight stay.

On Day 2, your driver will pick you up again from your hotel and take you to the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, where the first Olympic Games took place in 776 B.C.

After sightseeing in Olympia, head to Kyllini Port to take the ferry to Zakynthos. Check in at your hotel and then have the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Zakynthos. On Day 3, get transferred to Zakynthos Marina by your driver before hopping aboard a local boat cruise to explore the island. Visit the Blue Caves and the shipwreck, and enjoy a photo stop at Porto Vromi where the boat pulls up next to the Agalas and Keri Caves.

Have the chance to go swimming in the area of St. Nickolas, Vasilikos, where the boat anchors for about an hour. If you're lucky, you'll even spot sea turtles during the cruise. At the end of your boat tour, return to your hotel with your driver.

After breakfast on Day 4, take the ferry from Zakynthos to Kyllini and continue the tour to Delphi. Cross over the amazing bridge of Rion – Antirion before reaching Delphi. There, visit the archeological site and, of course, the Museum of Delphi.

Later, visit Arachova, a simultaneously traditional and modern small city, for coffee or lunch. Depart from Arachova and drive through central Greece to Kalambaka, a small traditional town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks of the great Meteora Monasteries. Overnight in Meteora.

On Day 5, visit Meteora and marvel at the unique and impressive scenery of ageless monasteries standing atop huge rocks between the earth and sky. On the way back to Athens, pass by the small towns of Domokos, Kamena Vourla, and Thermopiles before arriving in Athens late in the afternoon.
