Inside the Syntagma Metro Station at Syntagma Square. Your Athens Walking Tours guide will be waiting for you one floor down, next to the ticket validating machines and beneath the big central hanging clock. The guide will be holding an orange colored Athens Walking Tours sign.

Know before you go
- The distance covered is around 1.5 miles, with many stops in shady corners
- The walking pace is moderate and suitable for all
- Bring a sweater if you are visiting in the early spring or autumn
- There are restrooms along the way
- The first part of the tour ends at the Acropolis at 1:00 PM. At this point, you will have 45 minutes of free time to get a snack or a drink before you start the guided tour to the Museum at 1:45 PM. You can do this in the coffee shop of the museum or at the many spots along the pedestrian walkway next to the museum
- People aged 25 and under are entitled to a reduced entry ticket or a free entry to archeological sites
- Senior citizens, people aged 18 and under, and EU students are entitled to a reduced entry ticket to archeological sites and the Acropolis
- To receive free or discounted entry tickets, you must bring a valid ID, student ID, or passport
- Please bring cash (euros) with you to purchase the tickets. These will be bought in advance to avoid queueing
