Your tour departs from Athens, from where you will travel to Delphi, located on the spur of Mount Parnassus, making a short rest stop outside the town of Levadia. Arrive in Delphi, and visit the famous theater, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, and get an insight into the world of the Ancient Greeks. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the center of Ancient Greece, and best-known for its famous oracle. Tour the Museum of Delphi, home to a unique bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx, and the Statue of Antinoos, providing an amazing insight into Ancient Greek culture and history. After a lunch break, visit Athena Pronaia Sanctuary (depending on the local authority's permission), the most photographed spot in Delphi. Then, head back to Athens via the beautiful mountain village of Arachova, situated on the hills of the Parnassus Mountains, where the tour will stop for a short photo opportunity.

PROS: - Stunning site and views! - It’s a classicist’s dream: the temples, statues and walls are breathtaking. - Reliable pick-ups and drop-offs. - Everything as advertised. - The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. - The included-meal package is a great deal. - The restaurant’s food is delicious and filling (this includes the meal-package). - The bus, cafe, museum and restaurant have great air-con. CONS: - You don’t get much time without the guide at the café, restaurant and site. You see everything but the stadium with the guide though, so you barely miss anything, but you feel rushed. - This is because you spend so much time travelling (5-7 hours). The tour guide talks you through sights along the way there, but the journey is unavoidably long. THINGS TO WATCH FOR: - The guides are extremely cautious about time, so if you are more than 15 minutes late they WILL leave you there. - Drinks (even water) are not included in the meal package.

It’s a good arrangement with good stops and narration along the rather long journey , and still enough time in the site to go with the guide as well as having some personal time to walk around. All in all recommend this as the easiest and most efficient way of doing a day trip from Athens to see Delphi

The coach was punctual, cool and comfortable. The guide was knowledgeable and informative. I don't usually do organised tours but I very much enjoyed it. Delphi is awe inspiring and I would recommend it.

It was a wonderful stress free experience. Our guide Marianna was so knowledgeable and very pleasant. Delphi is beautiful and the photo areas was wonderful!! Highly recommend!!

It's worth using everything offered: the app, the pick-up and drop-off, the lunch, the guide, the skipping-the-line!!!
