Aswan marked ancient Egypt's southern frontier and is the point where the Nile is at its most majestic. It includes several shrines and sanctuaries that are thousands of years old. Your next stop will be The High Dam. The dam is considered to be the world's largest embankment dam with a reservoir capacity of 132km. From there, you will head to the Unfinished Obelisk. What people are saying about Aswan

This had a good combination of visiting monuments and taking a breather in the ship. First couple of days in Luxor and had a wonderful tour guide Samar.. and then we set sail covering monuments on the way to Aswan.. we were in a ship called Emilio.. one thing to call out is, not much of a difference between standard and Deluxe options except may be you are one floor higher. The ship was good and staff were friendly. Only at the restaurant they seem to be in a rush to clear out the plates.. Had Pola as the tour guide for remaining journey and he was great as well.. was very friendly.. for me Abu Simbel was the highlight. Arranged for additional places to cover in Aswan as the trip didn’t cover it. From before the trip beginning to the end.. Arwa the tour operator was staying on top of all things to make sure I’m having a good time which is worth mentioning here. All together met few really nice people on the ship and a memorable trip to cherish!

Remarkable cruise A 1st sequence with Asmaa our guide from Luxor who made us discover in particular Karnak and the Valley of the Kings - thank you Asma and congratulations for the spoken French learned in less than a year. Then relay taken by Osman, who continued and made us discover the wonders of Edfu, Kom Ombo, and an exceptional final at Abou simbel Bravo and thank you Osman Special mention to the organization of the cruise with a staff with little care (a surprise every day in our cabin with the folding of towels!) A huge thank you to the organization, Arwa in particular who allowed an express return from abou simbel (thank you drivers) to Aswan airport for us allow us to catch our plane. A huge thank you to everyone! You are a great team

We spent 4 wonderful days, both on the boat and when we made the visits accompanied by a guide who spoke French "Mehdi" at the top in his explanations and with a lot of humor. The Nile cruise is smooth and pleasant. The Emilio boat was a little run down but very well organized, with lovely staff and a very good buffet. Thanks to Arwa with whom we regularly communicated by Wathsapp for the organization of all these accompanied outings who was very responsive and very professional

Nermine was an excellent guide! Very informative and clear while also being welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our Aswan tour and highly recommend Nermine as your guide! 10/10
