Enjoy the serene surroundings of the Agafay Desert where you can take an optional camel or horse ride. Depart from Marrakech and enjoy a guided day trip through the High Atlas Mountains to learn more about Berber culture and traditions. Once you arrive in Imlil, enjoy a welcome glass of mint tea and meet your guide before commencing your tour of the local area. Make your way to the largest and highest village in Imlil Valley. Your journey will take you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Stop off in Tamatert and have the opportunity to take in the views of ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees.  Your guide will point out things of interest and talk to you about the Berber culture and heritage along the way.  Travel down through the village of Ait Souka and afterwards enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch in a Berber family guest house. Once you are rested, begin your return trip down the other side of the valley to Taourirt to board your vehicle. Go through the Moulay Brahim Gorges, before arriving at the main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions. Here, enjoy a camel ride through picturesque landscapes. Finally, make your journey back to Marrakech, with drop-off in the early evening.

After breakfast on day 2, soak up the sunshine that lights up this colorful valley before heading out towards Id Issa village. Spend some time exploring then trek to Tizi Oudid mountain pass walking through Matat village along the way. Arrive at a walnut grove and enjoy a relaxing lunch next to the river. Finally, return to Marrakech around 5pm.

Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil 1740m - Tizi Mzik pass 2479m - Red Valley - Tamsoult Refuge 2550m After breakfast in Marrakech, pick up & drive towards the high Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya & Asni, enjoy the stunning view of the villages along the valley . Arrival to Imlil (65km from Marrakech), meet the guide & multeer and then start the trek & climb Tizi Mzik pass (2479m), spectacular view over Imlil valley & Toubkal Summit, continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m of hight) through juniper forest, Overnight at the Refuge, 5hrs walking. ( Imlil to Tamsoult - 11kms, up 800m and down 400m, 5-6 hours). Day 2: Tamsoult Refuge 2550m - Aguelzim Pass (3650) - Toubkal Refuge 3207m. Today is an intense day, in which we significantly increase the average altitude of the trek. Ahead of us we have the demanding ascent to the Aguelzim pass at 3450 m. The ascent is long but progressive. Once on the pass we will be able to admire the summit of Toubkal. We then descend towards the Toubkal base camp, at 3200 m. Walking time: 6h30. ( Tamsoult to Toubkal Refuge - 10 kms, up 1200m, down 300m, 6 hours ) Day 3: Toubkal Refuge 3207m - Toubkal summit 4167m - Imlil 1740m - Marrakech Up early for the climb up Toubkal (4,167 m) from where, clouds allowing, you will have wonderful views over the Atlas range and the Sahara desert. T hen a long way back down past the refuge and the well-worn path back to Imlil. This is a fairly long day with 8-9 hours of trekking, involving 900m up then almost 2,500 m back down to Imlil. You will normally be dropped off at around 5.00 pm in Marrakech. ( Toubkal Refuge to summit - 4 kms, up and down 980m, 5 hours Toubkal Refuge - 4 hours, down 1400m, 5 hours).

Embark on a day trip from Marrakech and discover some of the most beautiful valleys of the High Atlas Mountains region with your guide. Start with pickup from your hotel or Riad in central Marrakech. Meet your guide and board the air-conditioned, 4WD vehicle, and set off on your adventure. On your way to the Ourika Valley, enjoy your first glimpse of the stunning landscapes. Make your first stop and take a 60-90-minute hike to discover beautiful waterfalls and some spectacular vistas. Along the way, visit some local Berber women at a local co-operative extracting the much sought-after Argan oil. Continue to the second valley, Oukaimden, and travel a secluded mountain road up to 1,800 meters above sea level. Pass through traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stones, and see the daily life of local people. When you arrive at Sidi Fares, the third valley, enjoy a delicious full lunch of soup, salad, Berber tajine, couscous, dessert, mint tea, and mineral water at a local home, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. With bellies full, head to the fourth valley, Asni, where you can admire the hills of fruit trees and the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains. Finally, relax on the drive back to the city via the fifth valley of Tahanaout, arriving back in Marrakech, with drop-off at your accommodation.

After morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, set off on a roughly 1-hour long drive into the High Atlas Mountains, bound for the mountain town of Tahnaout. Arriving, you’ll be paired with a horse and provided with all the necessary equipment to set off on a journey through stunning mountain trails. Your guide will lead you through towering juniper forests, steadily through the foothills of the mountain range, up to scenic viewpoints over the Asni Valley and sprawling Al Haouz plains. Ride on to Rha Moulay Brahim, where you’ll drop off your horse. Continue on, via car, to Imlil for a sumptuous local lunch with a view of the highest peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. After lunch, you’ll head back down the mountain to your accommodation in Marrakech.

Arrival at Imlil Valley and Hiking: Arriving at Imlil Valley, we'll commence a delightful hiking experience. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, during which you'll be captivated by the mesmerizing landscapes. We'll make our way to the impressive Imlil waterfall, where you can marvel at the beauty of nature. Lunch at a Berber House with a Panoramic View: After the invigorating hike, we'll reach a traditional Berber house nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Here, you will enjoy a scrumptious lunch prepared with local ingredients, all while relishing the spectacular panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and the highest peak in North Africa. Return to Marrakech: As the day comes to an end, we'll start our journey back to Marrakech.
