Benefit from a hotel or international airport pickup in a 4x4 land cruiser to start your day trip. After a brief introduction, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The Park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include water buck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant's gazelle, monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include African lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog. The Park is also home to more than 550 bird species and is therefore a haven for bird enthusiasts. After your tour, you will be dropped back off in Arusha.
