Discover and explore deep Berber country in the High Atlas Mountains, and enjoy the landscapes of desert, valleys, villages, and open plains on a full-day trip from Marrakech.  The drive takes you first to the Agafay Desert, just south of Marrakech, where you’ll experience some dune bashing before continuing on to the Lalla Takerkoust region, making your first stop on the hills overlooking the lake. From here you’ll begin a 4x4 adventure on dirt tracks rarely frequented by tourists and climb up to the Kik Plateau, where you’ll drive from village to village meeting locals, visiting Berber homes, and sampling their traditional mint tea and homemade bread.  When you arrive at Imlil Village, located in the heart of Toubkal National Park, you’ll have the option of hiking for an hour to Armed village or continue to the village by 4x4. The 1-hour hike with a local guide is of moderate difficulty. In the village you’ll be served a Berber lamb tagine for lunch at a local home or local restaurant. You’ll also enjoy Moroccan salads and homemade bread during the meal.  After lunch and a short relaxation break, you’ll head down a gentle hill to Imlil village, where you’ll meet your driver for the 1-hour trip back to Marrakech via the Haouz plains.

Set out from Marrakesh to experience life in the Atlas Mountains on this tour. The Berbers have called the region home for centuries. Discover their traditions and enjoy a meal. From the mountains, descend to the desert to ride a camel over the dunes. The first stop on the tour is the city of Tahanaoute. Visit a special cooperative where Berber women produce argan oil. After lunch prepare yourself to go down to imlil center where the driver waits for you to bring you back to marrakech by 17:30 pm Then your marrakech to atlas mountains day trip will end with dropping you off at your hotel/raid in marrakech or any other place in the city.

Day 1: marrakech -imlil - aziib tamsoult Pick up out of your hotel or riad after breakfast to depart imlil for azib tamsoult. As we leave the village of imlil, we bypass via walnut and cherry orchids, making our manner up the mizane valley earlier than heading west over the tizi mzik skip (2489mt) for lunch. The trail then slowly leads its way to azib tamsoult (2400m), our camp for the night. 4 hrs on foot. Day 2: azib tamsoult –agulzim peak - refuge du toubkal. Today is a deliberate acclimatization day. We leave the camp early within the morning and our purpose for this day is the summit of aglzim (3500mt). Once on the summit, we will have time to enjoy the beautiful views over the high atlas before starting our descent into camp(toubkal refuge). We will arrive at camp (3206m) in the mizane valley at the foot of mount toubkal within the past due afternoon. With 6 hours of strolling. Day 3: toubkal climb -imlil- marrakech. Today is the biggest day, and you should be prepared for it. The climb will begin early in the morning after an energy-packed breakfast. Start by following the licensed tour guide to take the route to the peak step by step. Hiking to the top of the mountain makes you feel the adrenaline with the desire to complete the challenge despite its difficulty. You will enjoy the hike from time to time due to the panoramic views offered to you. Once you are at the top, you will forget about all the difficulties and start enjoying the beautiful views of the atlas mountain range. Take pictures that you can share with your family and other adventurers like yourself before heading back to the shelter, where the team prepares their last lunch before moving on to imlil and on to marrakesh.

Leave the city behind and discover some of Morocco's wildest and most breathtaking scenery on this full-day, multi-faceted tour. After pickup from your hotel or the meeting point at 9:00am, you will be driven from Marrakech only an hour and half to the heart of the Atlas. On this tour, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the majestic Atlas Mountains. On your way, you will stop to take pictures of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanaout area. You will also visit a Berber Women’s Cooperative. Next, you will stop at Asni to take pictures of Oukaimeden Summit, before heading to Imlil. Upon arrival, you will go on a walk through Berber villages and learn about local culture and lifestyle. You will visit a waterfall, where you will be able to soak in scenic views. Before the tour ends, you will get a chance to relish a traditional lunch in a Berber family’s home. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel.

You are picked up from your hotel or hostel in Marrakech before 8.00 a.m. and we make our way across the stunning landscapes of the R207 route to the coast. Along the way we shall stop to see the argan trees where small goats clamber up the low branches and feed. Sometimes there are as many as 20 goats sitting up in one tree. It is a fascinating sight and an absolute must when it comes to getting a photo opportunity. Also along the way we will stop off at a women’s cooperative where argan oil is produced. The oil is extracted from the kernels of the tree and is a delicious accompaniment to a Moroccan bread meal or simply for drizzling over a pitta bread. The oil is also used as a beauty product for skin and hair treatment. Our Day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech arrives in the resort and port city where you’ll see the vast expanse of the North Atlantic Ocean. The vibrant old town (medina) is a world heritage site, and it won’t take you much to realize just why. Old brass cannons line the walls and ramparts protect the sea front from ancient invasions. There are several modern cafes and restaurants in the port city and this up-to-date culture combines with the history of the city very well. You will feel as though you are drifting in a time machine as you move from modern café to a rickety house in the medina in just a few yards. There is a long prom on the beachfront where a sandy beach welcomes bathers, and those who wish to relax in the sun on the golden sands of this charming city. To this end, you should bring swimwear, sunblock and a towel along with you for your time on beach. Our return journey will leave for Marrakech to arrive back in time for 6.00 pm. Once again you’ll be able to enjoy the surrounding sunset as the sun begins to set in the late afternoon. Essaouira is a popular stopover point for most tourists visiting Morocco, and you’ll see just why when you embark on this fascinating day trip to the coast.

Day 1: marrakech - imlil - toubkal refuge. Our adventure climbing tour 2-day toubkal trek will be started. After an early breakfast at the lodge in marrakech, our driver will pick you up and take you to the heart of morocco’s high atlas mountains. The trek starts evolved from imlil (1740m), a small berber village located at 1740m above the ocean level, at 67km on the southwest of marrakech. Right here you will meet the team who will accompany you during this first-rate journey; the motive force will drop you off inside the village, the muleteers will cope with your baggage, meals & all the different equipment that we usually offer for our clients, within half an hour you begin the stroll with a professional mountain guide via the berber villages following a mule track to take you to the mountain hut through the shrine sidi chamharouch (2500m). You’ll have your picnic lunch organized earlier by our cook, after lunch & a short break, preserve walking toward the refuge (3200m). Skip the line over, anticipating you on the hut or camp. Get a tasty mint tea upon arrival, exactly in toubkal refuge, the places where you will spend your night between the mountains and where you will start the climbing. The hot shower is available to smooth your frame and be prepared for the next day, option: the nighttime could be spent on the tent but in the summer season. Day 2: toubkal - imlil - marrakech. Wake up early to keep away from the sunny way. Breakfast around 5:00 am, start the ascent the toubkal at 5:30 am.
