Hola! We had a great trip to the Tulum ruins and Rio Secreto. Our guide, Gabriel, was great! He had to help two in our group often and he did it with kindness and patience. Our photographer, Daniel, in Rio Secreto was helpful and kind too! He offered his hand when needed and would let us pose silly and take extra photos. Our driver, Miguel, was quick and kind as well! It was also soooo nice to actually be in transportation with guests with next-door resorts/hotels, rather than having to venture all over Riviera/Playa del Carmen area. So they do their hotel transfer transportation well/organized too!

What people are saying about Archeological Zone of Tulum

They arrived around 10 mins late to the pickup point. No one picked up my call on their customer support number, but they did reply to me on their WhatsApp number. Customer service told me that it would be a minibus/van, but it was actually a large bus. We were greeted by 3 Miguels - Señor Miguel, El profesor Miguel, El conductor Jorge Miguel. There was a bus change at Playa Del Carmen for those coming from Cancun. The guides were clear in communication. After reaching Tulum, we were given clear instructions on where to meet, whom to follow & where to regroup. The guide told us a lot of facts about the Mayan culture. Before leaving the Archaeological site, we had a tasty lunch at one of the restaurants. From there we went to see two cenotes. We had paid the full price, but the visit to Cobá didn't happen because of a regulation by INAH just one day before which led to a closure of the site. Also, the cenotes were not as clean as I had hoped them to be and there was no life guard.

Pickup was on time and tour was informative with enough time to enjoy each stop. Only disappointment was Coba not allowing people to climb due to COVID-19, but that obviously wasn't their fault.

Great, fun, and educational tour! For those coming from Playa Del Carmen it isn't a full day tour though, you might get back time by 6/7pm, just more time for you to plan for something else!

Herland was the best tour guide you can imagine. He was so friendly, patient, and passionate about the tour and his culture. If you want to have a great day. Please ask for Herland!

Good tour, host was very informative and knowledgeable
