2. From Bordeaux: Full-Day St Emilion Wine Tasting Tour

The wine region of Libournais encompasses much of what is referred to as the Right Bank. Named after its historical capital, the expression Right Bank typically refers to wines from the Pomerol and St-Emilion areas of the Libournais. There are several villages around the region that share the Saint-Émilion name, such as Montagne-Saint-Émilion and St-Georges-Saint-Émilion which are named the satellite appellations. This was a absolutely wonderful experience! Both wines and cheeses were incredible! We had three glasses of wine and three different cheese boards for each wine with 5 samples on each!! Well worth the money! I would recommend this class to everyone. The restraint this class is held in is so beautiful and even has a cheese cellar you can go look at underneath!

As part of the tour, we had three wine tastings in the St. Emilion region. The wine was amazing. As a bonus, we were able to have a chocolate tasting and toured the church. The guide, Jerome (sp?), was highly knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

Perfect trip with the greatest guide Karim! I was solo traveling over the weekend and had the best time. Karim really has a great knowledge of the wine and made you feel welcome.

Julie did a phenomenal job for my family on our tour, working with a diverse group of people with varying levels of knowledge and wine expertise.

The guide was fun, had the knowledge, was interested and kept everyone talking and asking questions.
