I would advise other travelers to bring a bottle of water and healthy snacks (if they want healthy snacks). The bus does make stops at places where there are toilets and food but nothing very healthy. The tour company should give people a timetable so they know what to expect: i.e. stop 1 time, stop 2 time, arrive at Petra approximately noon, return to bus at 4:30, etc. It clearly was carefully planned, but it was poorly communicated. The site itself is amazing but it is a 1 1/2 walk at minimum down a dusty road with horse drawn carriages passing by. Thus a scarf or mask to cover your face is also a good idea. The walk back is all uphill. The tour company needs to call some taxis to meet the bus in Tel Aviv because it arrives after midnight. These are suggestions, but the sites themselves were just amazing. I'm glad I went but the tour company could improve the visitor experience with suggestions and improved logistics on the return.

The 21 hour trip is hard because of the driving (appx. six+ hours each way ),and a slow, very disorganized border crossing, but the Petra experience is worth it. We loved that we were able to go and next time, will plan a two-day trip with one night at a hotel. There is so much to see and nowhere near enough time to enjoy it all. Petra is absolutely astounding! Also, the "lunch" bag had terrible food - a plain, dry bagel with nothing inside, a very brown banana, one apple and one orange, a juice drink box (not real juice, but sugar and water), and an expired-date wafer bar. Our bar said it was good until December 2019 and clearly we are way past that . Considering we paid $300 pp, plus the extra fees of $125pp, a better lunch would have been reasonable to expect. Perhaps a quick lunch at a plaza cafe?

We would would highly recommend this experience.

The 3 day trip was awesome and we touched all the highlights of Jordan. From the Jordan valley to Petra, from Wadi Rum to floating on the dead sea, the three of us and our driver navigated with ease in a relaxing pace to allow us to enjoy the environment and lovely Jordanian people. We would would highly recommend this experience.

Very good organization and assistance at the border crossing in Israel and Jordan. Everything went very fast. And the trip to Petra ... waw! Nizar is the best...made all the money. An educated man, with a broad general culture, who presented us all the history of Petra, but also of the Middle East! Everiting is ok!

This tour is a all day tour, is very nice if you short of time but it will be a long day. The tour is good the guide at Petra did a great job, there is not lunch or anything so bring some snacks. At Petra you can eat before you go back, it will be a long drive back plus have to cross the border again.
