This tour was one of my favorite tours while in Colombia. I had never done snorkeling before so I really enjoyed it. The tour was great. Daniel (bus guide) Ivan (boat guide) both did a great job. They promised to send me all the pictures they took and they did the only thing I’d recommend for anyone planning to attend this tour is to make sure your tour guide sprinkles some bread before they snap your pictures to make sure they capture fish around you otherwise you will end up with just a picture of yourself under water :( I think that was the only downside for me. The food was great, I literally ate everything on my plate (went with the fish option). I definitely recommend this tour.

Besides the views, Totumo Volcano is known for its mud baths that offer a natural form of water and mineral therapy that helps beautify the skin and provide relaxation. This is a fun, unique full-day experience that allows you to take advantage of a natural spa that you can only enjoy in Colombia! Totumo Volcano is located in the municipality of Santa Catalina, about an hour from Cartagena. Sit back and enjoy the scenic ride through Bolívar, a region of Colombia that features breathtaking tropical landscapes. The area surrounding Totumo Volcano offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, lakes, and forests. Enjoy a guided tour of the region before heading to the small volcano itself, for the highlight of your day trip! According to local legend, a priest sprinkled holy water onto the lava-spewing volcano and tamed it into the natural relaxing mud bath spa that exists today....

It was AMAZING! I guide was very knowledgeable and informative and my driver was curious and polite. I couldn't ask for anything else. The mud volcano is an experience all in itself plus I had a masseuse with magic fingers. The massage is optional but if you get it, tip the locals. Dang think with the bath afterwards, tip the ladies that help you get cleaned up. For me that's the whole purpose of the trip, to get the experience and give back to the locals.

A very interesting place to visit. When we go into the mud it looks like quicksand, but we're submerged from the waist up, it doesn't sink at all. You can opt for a massage that I thought was great. Sometimes air bubbles rise. Now bathing in the lake is the best lol the women help us to remove all the mud very accurately

The team were very attentive and willing to help out in every aspect of the trip. Every activity was prepended by the guide giving recommendations as to what to expect and what was going to happen

Great driver who already provided a lot of information about Medellin in advance. There is a family atmosphere on Carlos's farm. Carlos does his tour with passion. A wonderful day.
