Full description

Embark on a full-day trip to Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis from Antalya. See the Cotton Palace, Roman theater, Apollo temple, and more while learning about the history from your guide. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch and a refreshing dip in the warm waters.

After being picked up from Antalya start the drive to Pamukkale. Take a lunch break before visiting the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of this mysterious cotton palace. The calcite-laden waters that had created this unreal landscape come from springs located in a 200-meter-high cliff that overlooks the plain. Marvel at the mineral forests, petrified waterfalls, and the series of terraced basins created by these waters. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the kings of Pergamon established the thermal spa of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site. The temples were significant trade centers for ancient Hierapolis. See the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, Roman baths, fountains, and the agora. After the tour, have a chance to swim in thermal pools. An additional option is to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, for an extra fee.

Good experience overall ..nice guide (chengiz) But if you’re veg and don’t have eggs then you need to carry your food because the lunch for veg people is pathetic. Rice were completely uncooked. Except for food overall experience was very nice. Recommend to others too

Good tour guide with knowledgeable information. Tour took about 6 hrs to reach inc several stop breaks and lunch. Only was given 3 hrs to roam around which was okay time anyway to visit the areas but was very crowded at this time in Oct too. Lunch stop wasn’t very nice hence 1 star off.

I had been looking forward to this tour for a long time and it did not disappoint. Pickup and drop off were easy and without any problems. The tour guide gave lots of information (in clear and concise English) and then gave us several hours to explore the site on our own (which I really appreciated). He was available in a set location for us to ask additional questions. The amount of time we had to explore was just right...usually, I feel rushed by tours but this was prefect. The meal was a buffet style meal (with drinks not included). The food was decent and there were even a few selections for dessert.
