Full description

Embark on a full-day trip to Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis from Antalya. See the Cotton Palace, Roman theater, Apollo temple, and more while learning about the history from your guide. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch and a refreshing dip in the warm waters.

After being picked up from Antalya start the drive to Pamukkale. Take a lunch break before visiting the cascading snow-white terraced cliffs of this mysterious cotton palace. The calcite-laden waters that had created this unreal landscape come from springs located in a 200-meter-high cliff that overlooks the plain. Marvel at the mineral forests, petrified waterfalls, and the series of terraced basins created by these waters. At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the kings of Pergamon established the thermal spa of Hierapolis. The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site. The temples were significant trade centers for ancient Hierapolis. See the Roman theater, the Apollo temple, Roman baths, fountains, and the agora. After the tour, have a chance to swim in thermal pools. An additional option is to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, for an extra fee.

Good tour guide with knowledgeable information. Tour took about 6 hrs to reach inc several stop breaks and lunch. Only was given 3 hrs to roam around which was okay time anyway to visit the areas but was very crowded at this time in Oct too. Lunch stop wasn’t very nice hence 1 star off.

Really recommendable experience, between history and relaxation, where I got to know I have an exceptional guide named BARBAROS DUZGUN, he is madly passionate about his work and you convey all his knowledge with emphasis, I would like all the guides and people in any job to put so much love like he does. I am totally disinterested in culture and I went purely to relax in Cleopatra's pool, to totally rediscover a wonderful archaeological site where I was very impressed by discovering so many new things. (The only guide I have met over the years who has not asked for, begged for any reviews on his behalf) Truly the best and beautiful organization and activity !!!

The app confirmed to me that I would be picked up from the hostel. Was then called at some point, where I was. Overall a great experience based on the main attractions. The tour guide told all the information super fast and sometimes difficult to understand. It felt like a clearance, also because of the stops with overpriced souvenirs that nobody wants to buy
