The Azores are considered one of the best places for whale watching in the world. 28 species of whales and dolphins have been spotted there over the years. The Goat islets is the largest islet of the Azores, located 3.5 nautical miles from the city of Angra do Heroísmo. This activity it's carried out in different locations on the south coast of Terceira Island, with the safety and visibility conditions being evaluated daily, in order to choose the most suitable place for the activity and safety of the participants.
