Your tour begins at the office in Batsi in the morning. From there, you will head to the southern part of the island where where you will pass by the villages of Aprovato and Aghia Eleousa. Your first small stop will be at the ancient capital of Andros, Paleopolis, where you will learn the history of ancient Andros and can also make the most of some great photo opportunities. On the way to your next stop, you will pass through the villages of Pitrofos and Stavropeda. Your second stop will be at the Aghia Marina Monastery, which is a wondrous image. You will then head to the Aghios Nikolaos Monastery, where you will see the images and the remains of holy men. You will also learn the history and the wonders of the monastery from the local monks. Your next stop will be to the Aghia Irene Monastery, which is a newly and fully restored monastery. Your final stop will be to the capital of Andros, Chora. After this, you can opt to have lunch in a local restaurant or return to the port to take the ferry back to Athens.
