What people are saying about Andes Mountains, Peru

We had a fantastic time on the trek. The guide Percy was extremely knowledgeable and happy to teach us about the area. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, safe, and getting all they could from the experience. Lots of encouragement and tips about trekking. He even lent me his walking sticks at the end when I was struggling a little to ascend. The accommodations were basic but totally acceptable - clean and comfortable. Meals were excellent - especially lunch the last day. Passionfruit mousse - WOW! The hot springs were a glorious way to end. We even saw a volcano erupt (from a far). Icing on the cake for me were the alpaca and vicuña herds - just amazing. Overall a really excellent activity and I highly recommend.

This was a great tour! Henry did a fantastic job - he shared tons of interesting information about everything we saw and also kept the various itineraries of the group in mind. One caveat I would provide is that this was the first tour we had done in the area, and I can imagine that some of the stops made might not interest people who have already had their fill of alpacas, the beautiful mountains, etc.

The tour was perfectly organized. We saw many things and had a great time. Carlos is an extraordinary guide. He has explained lots of things to us and has taken great care of us. He is a great professional and knows a lot. He is also a very pleasant and efficient person. Thank you very much, Carlos.

Very great excursion with the highlight of seeing the condors. Our guide explained everything perfectly and took everyone into consideration. The planning and times were adhered to 100%.
