Leave Athens and drive southwest until you reach the Corinth Canal that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive on and visit the ancient town of Corinth, where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. The remains of the city, which include the agora (marketplace) and Temple of Apollo (6th-century BC) clearly show how rich and important Corinth was in ancient times. A short stop at the site of the ancient Port of Cehrees, where St. Paul disembarked will conclude the visit. Return back to Athens by the same route. If you are staying near the coast, you will be transferred back to your hotel at around 15:00 with the tour bus.

After your morning pick-up from your centrally located hotel, the bus will drive to Corinth via Iera Odos (the Sacred Way). It was so-called this because it was the route taken by a procession celebrating the Eleusinian Mysteries. Initiations were held every year for the cult of Demeter and Persephone based in Eleusis. Your first stop will be the Monastery of Daphni, a 11th-century Byzantine monastery listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Monasteries Hosios Loukas and Nea Moni of Chios. The interior of the church is decorated with superb mosaics, a unique, fine example of the classical idealism of Middle Byzantine art. The crowded scenes of the mosaics narrate scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin.  Driving along the coastal road, reach Corinth Canal, which merges the Aegean with the Ionian Sea (short stop for photos of the breathtaking view). Shortly thereafter, reach the ancient town of Corinth, where St. Paul lived and preached for two years (Acts 18:1-18). Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla, see the remains of the first century shops, the agora where Paul’s trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene and one of the most outstanding monuments of the pre–Roman period, the Temple of Apollo.

Venture south of Athens to discover highlights of the Peloponnese. Cross the Corinth Canal to leave mainland Greece and explore Ancient Corinth - antiquity’s most powerful commercial crossroads. Corinth was the wealthiest city in all the ancient world, and a leader amongst the powerful Greek city-states. It was built at the foothills of the rocky hill of Acrocorinth, discernible from afar and a striking lookout against potential enemies coming by land or sea. Following that, visit the Archaeological Museum of Corinth where you can wander around its famous exhibits. At the conclusion of your experience, your tour guide returns you back to your accommodation in Athens.

Your train ride ends in the town of Kalavryta, where your driver will meet you to take you to the mysterious and magnificent Cave of Lakes. Discover this rare creation of nature with 13 small and large lakes, each a different color, formed inside a cave that you can now explore. See the “hanging bridge” the “waterfalls”, and the unique stalactite formations as you get the feeling of being in a floating corridor. Head through an artificial tunnel that leads you directly to the second floor for some awe-inspiring sights.   Finally, stop for a meal in the picturesque village of Kalavrita before heading back to Athens.

Mycenae was the city from which the Mycenaean civilization started and has an archaeological site. There you will visit the burial Royal Tombs of the kings and queens, the cyclopian walls, the Lion Gate, and the treasury of Atreas,the Cyclopean Walls. Go on to Nafplion, the first modern Capital of Greece from 1821 till 1834. You will see the Castle of the city, Palamidi, as well as Mpourtzi the island fortress, the first defence line of the port. It's a wonderfull seaside place ideal for some walking and tasting of famous Greek cuisine in a memorable lunch in a traditional restaurant or tavern .There you can see the old houses of the Nafplion as well as the local shops that sell handmade objects and jewelry for all tastes and wallets. After your lunch, drive back to Athens.

Your first stop is at the Corinth canal for 15 minutes where you can take photos and have a refreshing drink. The next stop is at Akrokorinthos for 1 hour before you visit Ancient Corinth and the Archaeological Museum of Corinth for about 3 hours. Then, stop at Heraion (Sanctuary of Hera) in Perachora for about 1 hour and finally, visit the Blue Lake (Vouliagmeni Lake) for 30 minutes.

We will visit in Corinthia and it's extended on the foot of the Gerania mountain range. You will explore the large citadel of Acrocorinth. Through its imposing entrance gates, you will enter the castle and you will discover its hidden gems. You will also explore the incredible archaeological site of ancient Corinth, including its fabulous museum, courtyard, Temple of Apollo, Fountain of Glauke, Sacred Spring, Peirene, Asklepieion, Odeion, Bema, Agora, and much more. Following some allocated time for shopping, you will be driven to the port of Kechries, tracing the footsteps of St. Paul to the east.

After a pickup from your accommodation, take a 1-hour drive along the mainland coast to Peloponnese and have a brief stop at the Canal of Corinth. Continue on to reach Ancient Corinth, one of Saint Paul’s beloved cities. Have the chance to visit the ancient market and the Bema of Saint Paul, a large elevated rostrum standing prominently in the center of the Roman Forum of Ancient Corinth. Explore the former city-state and walk the same paths the Apostle of Nations once did and see where he preached hundreds of years ago. Next, visit the commercial town of Corinth and the Apostolos Pavlos Church, founded around 51-52 AD. Learn about Saint Paul's presence and life in the city and how he was hosted by the Jews of Achilles and Priscilla. Continue on to Kechrias Port and find out more about Saint Paul's second missionary journey and how he fulfilled a vow by shaving his head.   Conclude your visit with a short stop for a cup of coffee on your return journey back to Athens.

After gathering with your group, you'll head west along a beautiful scenic route on your way to the Corinth Canal. Following a short break there, your next destination will be ancient Corinth. During ancient times, the town of Corinth was considered one of the richest cities in Greece, due to the remains of the Temple of Apollo the Ancient Agora. This is also the place where Saint Paul preached and lived for about two years of his life. Following that exploration you will drive through vineyards and olive trees on the way to Mycenae. It will be there that you will visit the famous Cyclopean Walls around the Acropolis of Mycenae, as well as the Tomb of King Atreus. From there you will continue by visiting the first capital city of the Democracy of Greece, the beautiful city of Nafplion which boasts the fortified islet of Bourtzi. Finally, on your way back to Athens you will visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus.
