The first thing I say is "IF YOU HAVE ATTENTIVE MINOR CHILDREN". I did as it says on the site (that is, the minors' ticket is given at the ticket office) but as soon as I arrived at the building they told me that I had to have the ticket for my son too. Unfortunately the application did not give me the possibility to book it so I had to pay 2 Tickets. The visit for 10 €, however, is worth it.

I was in a hurry and I did not take the audio guide to save time, but the palace is " a real beauty". I recommend this tour, there is a lot to see and enjoy if you like pieces of art, amazing architecture, elegant surroundings and have an enjoyable time!

Amsterdam’s Royal Palace in a nutshell

A highlight of Amsterdam is the Royal Palace. The admission line was not too long, but as I had prepaid, I was able to check in my bag, and grab an audio headset. The Palace is extravagant, with many rooms to explore. It was originally designed and built as a town hall, but as it ended being so exquisite, it became a home for royalty. The audio explanations are extremely detailed... in fact, too detailed. Overall, it took an hour and a half to track through. It was an enjoyable experience.
