Founded by the Nabateans, Petra is considered one of the wonders of the world. Located 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra was carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago. It dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Upon arrival, walk the narrow path of the Siq to discover the main entrance to the city. At the end of the Siq, see the Treasury (al-Khazneh), which was believed to hold countless treasures. Continue to the monastery and Altar of Sacrifice. Then, transfer to Wadi Rum in the afternoon. The magic places this country has to offer and our driver Khalil made this experience unforgettable. Khalil is a fantastic guide and he was always ready to help us with anything. He would show us the nicest spots for pictures and take us to the best places to eat at. He even surprised us with ice cream and drinks after a long visit at Petra. I was traveling with two friends and in just two days we managed to go on a hike around Petra, drove to Wadi Rum desert and rode 4WD and camels. We slept in bedouin camp and gazed at the shooting starts and at the sunrise the morning after. Took a dive in the Red Sea’s waters at Aqaba and had so much fun getting coated with the Dead Sea’s muds. This tour is a convenient way to explore the most significant places in Jordan if you only have a limited time to spend there. Although it is pretty comprehensive, be ready to pay extra if you would like to have guides and additional activities during your stops. Looking forward to visiting again!

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, Rania, was very knowledgeable about every site we saw, and our driver, Mustafa, was friendly and efficient. The Bedouin camp was amazing, and the lunches we stopped for were also excellent. The only thing I would note is that you need to have 107 NIS for the Israeli exit fee and at least 60 Jordanian dinars (or US equivalent)—there is no ATM at the border as some people on our tour were told.

Great experience! The dead sea resort spa lunch was fun. It's on your own to utilize the spa services. It's a short walk to a private beach as well as pool access in addition to a buffet style lunch. This is where I spent the most time and there is more flexibility with the private tour (utilize your time to the fullest). There is a lot of culture and history in Jordanz enjoy!
