On this tour you will visit Amberd, a fortress on the southern slope of Mount Aragats, founded in the 7th century. Next up is Lake Kari at the height of 3250 m on the slopes of Mount Aragats, the highest point of Armenia (4090 m). Up next is the visit to "Aregi" Dry Fruit and Eco-Snack Factory, where incredible combinations of fruits and vegetables await you. "Aregi" products are exclusively without sugar and additives, the factory operates by receiving solar energy through special stations. Visit Saghmosavank, 13th century Armenian monastic complex, unique due to its frescoes with biblical themes and the perfect harmony with environment – vertical cliffs of Kasakh gorge. There comes the Alley of Armenian Letters (Alphabet Alley), that was built on the slopes of Mount Aragats in honor to the 1600th anniversary of the creation of Armenian alphabet. Everything is there: the machines, the Stalin-era architecture, the production line etc. A unique place and exceptional that we have permission, Drive to Amberd for overnight , on the way a stop at a bakery Day6 Amberd -Yerevan (overnight) drive to Amberd Castle. This historic site (10th century) begs to be photographed. After this, we drive past the old Tegher monastery and our lunch spot then one of the highlights of this trip. Drive to Yerevan Day 7 GEGHARD Rock-hewn Unesco monastery This beautiful monastery complex is not to be missed when in Armenia. After our departure at 9am, we are here with an hour and can walk around, take pictures or enjoy this mystical place. GARNI & ROCK FORMATION/ URBEX POOL Unique and beautifully located Not far from Geghard is a Roman temple from 77. Complete and working. We visit this super photogenic site along with the adjacent 'Symphony of Stones'. A menacing and unusual basalt rock formation. We arrive back in Yerevan on time. You can, if you like, visit another urbex pool.

Discover the best of the Aragatsotn Province on this half-day trip. After getting picked up from the lobby of your hotel, travel to your first destination, Byurakan Observatory, which is considered the scientific pearl of Armenia. Enjoy a guided tour of the observatory and discover what was once the largest telescope in the USSR. Next, head to the 10th-century Amberd Fortress and get an overview of traditional Armenian fortress construction. Later, continue to the village of Oshakan, where you can see the resting place of the inventor of the Armenian alphabet, Mesrop Mashtots. After his death, a small chapel was built over his tomb, which you can visit. Finally, experience Armenian hospitality at a local family home. Sample traditional specialties around the dinner table, washed down with homemade wine. You can also enjoy a demonstration of how to make traditional lavash. After your meal, get dropped off back at your hotel in Yerevan.
