You’ll taste Alsatian specialties, including a delicious soup, as well as an Alsatian meat pie with vegetables. Finally, a great taste of delicious Alsace wine will make you discover your own tastes and likes. There are no limits on the wines you can taste, so that you get to know the difference between a dry and sweet wine, red or white or even our special crémant d'Alsace (sparkling). Blind experience and winery visit (15€ p/p) Wake up your senses with an unusual tasting where the aromas and flavours will make you discover wine differently. Visit our winery and our history with a guided tour through the cellar, the underground tanks and the evolution of the winery until its 4th generation. After that, a playfull experience of blind tasting : would you be able to recognise a white, a rosé and a red wine in a black glass ? Free tasting after the visit. I welcome you to the cellar with a glass of wine to start the tasting. We will then watch an informative video on the Alsace wine-making process (adapted for children). I will take you to visit the family cellar dating back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels that we still use to make our wines. In 2020 following the organic conversion of my entire estate, we renovated our cellar and use now of this new space to offer our visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic experience in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels : unique in France... This film is not a remake of the video about wine-making process...but a film about my rather rich personal history, and about my work philosophy. The whole video is projected in the cellar, on century-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on some sequences) with sound work, throwing the audience in total immersion in my story. We will finish the tasting in the wine store area. We will end the tasting in the wine shop. Then we will give you your picnic basket to take away and enjoy in the vines or at home. It includes : 1 pretzel, bread, a selection of 3 cheeses, a selection of 3 delicatessens, a small bottle of water, a fruit and gingerbread, cutlery, a napkin and a bag. Some hike tips will be given in the bag as well. A vegetarian picnic basket is available, please let us know in advance. For children, the same picnic basket will be given to them if they have a reservation. A guide is at your disposal throughout the visit to exchange and answer your questions.
