Had a lovely morning, overall. The scenery was spectacular! Only down side was not enough time to fully appreciate the scenery, stop to watch a lizzard, take photos, etc. in order to get back to the bus on time. Our tour guide was very well informed, about the First Nations peoples in the area and the history with European settlement. I was surprised and delighted to learn more about John Flynn's impact and contribution to the region, including, of course the Royal Flying Doctor Service, but also well beyond that including opportunities for education of children in remote areas. Also, even though I might not often visit war memorials, I very much enjoyed the view of Alice Springs and the whole surrounding area from Anzac Hill.

Simpson's Gap was gorgeous as was Standley Chasm. We were even lucky enough to see some wild camels and feed them! Highly recommended
