10. Alicante: Guided Kayak Tour Through Moraira with Snorkeling

We will begin the kayak route through the coves of Moraira-Teulada watched over by the Castell de Moraira , built in the s. XVIII with defensive and surveillance purposes, it dominates the bay of Moraira.
From our starting point in Cala Platgetes we will head southwest.
Our goal… Baladrar or Punta Estrella. On our journey through turquoise waters, we will pass through different coves.
The Kayak Moraira route stands out for the sea beds of this entire coast that are made up of Posidonia meadows, rock formations and fine sand. You will be able to spot flocks of mullets, starfish, rock fish such as thrush, mojarra or wahoo, as well as octopus, gilthead bream, sea bass, and castanets, among others. Birds such as cormorants and seagulls will also accompany us.
Our departure in Cala Platgetes we have 2 small coves, one of fine sand and the other of rock that will surprise us with its crystalline waters and its seabed that we can see.
About 700 m bordering Moraira beach until you reach Cala l'Andragó , a quiet rocky cove with huge stones eroded by the immemorial beating of the waves, 150 meters long and 50 m2 wide. Noted for its crystalline waters and its perfect state of maintenance and conservation, Cala l'Andragó houses a viewpoint where you can contemplate beautiful views of the town of Moraira and its emblematic 18th-century watchtower.
And shortly we will arrive at our destination , Cala Cap Blanc , also known as Cala Punta Estrella , is a small virgin rock cove. It is a quiet and low-occupancy cove, little known and without services or equipment, it is about 200 meters long and 8 meters wide.
At a very shallow depth (less than 2 meters) there are many small, bream, blenia, castanets, damsels and other minor species.
After a well-deserved rest, we will begin our return from this fantastic kayak route in Moraira .
