Alhambra is truly a wonder of the world and it transcends beyond just another truest spot. Going early or late or doing a night tour work for us. It can get g Crowed. I highly recommend booking with a private guide or a small group. Buy tickets ahead of time to avoid waitin on lines and do a little research!

pleasant private tour without ticket stress

The tour and meeting with our guide Maria was great and well organized. We chose this tour because we only did a day trip to Granada and we were afraid of long queues. It was very pleasant to be able to visit everything at your own pace and yet without worrying about when you have to be where. Maria always kept an eye on the time, so that we got to the Nasrid Palace on time for the climax. Here, too, we were allowed to pass the line of individual visitors as a group, which was pleasant. I had the impression that we were told a lot of interesting things and that questions were answered competently. The only drawback was the arrangement of the time. Unfortunately, our desired date could not be met, so that we should specify a time span to be on the safe side. A few days before the start of the tour, we were then informed of our time, which was outside of our specified time span... Then what was the desired time for at all?

The only way to see Alhambra!

We decided to splurge on a private tour of the Alhambra. Previous experience has taught us that having a guide you can freely communicate with can really bring the experience alive and this time was no different! Juan was terrific. His English was impeccable, he was a wealth of knowledge and kept even our 10 year old engaged. He was able to strike the right balance between historical facts and painting a picture of what life was like. Our imaginations were captured! He was a very pleasant young man, very personable and we enjoyed our tour very much.
