Pete was already waiting for us at the meeting point. When our group (9) was complete, we set off. We learn about the history of the place and the Portuguese culture in general. Very different people met on our tour. So a wonderful evening developed, which became livelier from station to station. That may have been due to the good food and certainly also the wine. Pete took great care of all of his tour guests. Nobody was neglected and our son (10) did not have too much time either. He picked up some things with his knowledge of English, others let us summarize briefly. When it came to eating, the focus was on fish. From starter to dessert, everything was there. So for the curious with a taste for food and culture, that's exactly right. The duration of 3 hours is an orientation. But you always have access to toilets and you don't actually have to walk a lot.

Intro to local food by a local

An incredible food tour that really does introduce you to the food that the locals eat. Pete the guide was very knowledgeable and was able to get us tables at some of the best spots - lots of fresh seafood and plenty of drinks to pair with your meals. Being a Saturday night, we did have to wait at some spots to get served, but that's only because they are also so popular with the locals. Would highly recommend this tour as the perfect intro to Lagos!
