The caves were beautiful and absolutely made this trip for me. I did get a bit wet but it wasn't bad - glad I brought a light jacket as it does get a bit cold on the ocean. You can tuck a day bag under the seat but I wouldn't recommend brining much. We didn't manage to find any dolphins, but the time on the water and the shoreline were absolutely worth the experience. Lovely guide and driver as well.
It was very cool to see the dolphins in the wild, we almost didnt see any but we managed to catch a group and they swam beside us. We also came across a species of whale(theyre not lot large and they were very shy so just caught a glimpse) Awesome! (take note: I didnt wear a jacket, IT GET VERY COLD OUT A SEA SO MAKE SURE YOU DO :'D).
We were lucky to see dolphins relatively quickly after our tour started. Was interesting seeing the rock formations and the caves. Benagil cave was very crowded with other boats and kayakers. Not given any opportunity to swim anywhere along the route and timing of the next tour makes me suspect there is never time for a swim!
it was perfect and very much adventurous. the only thing is that they dont stop or let you get down and take pics at banagil cave which is the most amazing spot. otherwise the trip was really worth every penny. highly recommended.
Our group of 6 people, 2 seniors,2 adults and 2 children under 4 years of age had a great time. We were able to join in all of the animal experiences and had photographic evidence to take home.
