We had a pleasant drive from Cairo by Sam where we met our tour guide Kholoud to give us a tour of the history of Alexandria! Unfortunately the library of Alexandria was closed ( which we knew ahead of time) so we did not get to go inside . But we over had a great day exploring the Catacombs, the amphitheater, and Pompey’s Pilar . We had a nice lunch on the water and headed back. Just enough time in Alexandria and was nice to have our own personal guide. I have booked several different trips with this tour company and they have been so communicative and responsive. If you are looking for a good day tour to Alexandria, look no further!

Alexandria is a very nice day trip. For as special occasion supposed to happen in 2021 for my twins's birthday The catacombs were amazing and the citadel incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide took us to the Fish Market restaurant for late lunch. It had a breathtaking view of the harbor and Mediterranean see. It was a long day but worth going. Our guide was fantastic and hats off to the driver for taking on the inner city traffic. He had some skill I must say

The guide, Mahmoud, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He is the best guide we have had in our entire trip to Egypt. I advise you to ask for Mahmoud if you book this trip. This has been an enjoyable and educational event for our own family.
