A lovely day trip to get out of the city without renting a car. The guides were warm and enthusiastic locals. The countryside with all the cork trees was an unusual landscape. The sites were intriguing for their wide ranging view of history. Enjoyed the lunch break recommended by our guides (at "Pateo"). The open courtyard (covered for sun) was perfect on a warm sunny February day. The tour does involve walking cobbled, hilly streets, climbing stairs, and uneven dirt paths to the megaliths, so be prepared with appropriate footwear.

It was great because we've had the chance to experience and taste traditional food and drinks and also because Pedro was an excellent guide for us. I would strongly advise for Pedro to continue working in this field as he is very good and also helps tourists with indications and any information they might need. As a person, Pedro is very funny and has good spirit and definately knows how to keep a group together and make us interact between us.

Johana was the best guide we could ever have. She is so nice and knows everything about Portugal. We were so lucky and were the only 2 on the tour, we recommend it completely. You eat and drink different things from local shops where local go, so it's a real experience. Johanna know a lot about the history of Portugal and can tell you all kind of facts and answer all of your questions, oh and she speaks perfect English!

This tour was excellent. We were taken to local historic eateries and tasted some Portuguese specialities. Really liked that a historical society and a community centre were included in the tour. Anna was a great guide.

Great experience. You have the upportunity to learn a lot for Portugese people through their food habits. Enjoy every minute of it. I strongly recomend tgus tour!!!
