Full description

Journey up hills and down valleys, crossing rural roads with various fruit plantations such as orange and lemon trees, almond and fig trees, and Moorish water systems. Pass little white villages, crossing streams and traversing meadows, that will make you feel like a explorer traveling along winding earthen tracks to some of the most fascinating places in Algarve. In the tiny white-washed villages, where time seems to have stood still, see some ancient customs and traditions. Be taken to one of the last farmers using an old distillery. Sometimes its possible to glance over and see a wild bore or a fox. Here you can taste and learn everything about the natural flower honey. In Alte, one of the most typical Algarvian villages, take a reinvigorating and refreshing swim at a natural spring or just relax with a walk along the beautiful green landscape of the area. A place where famous Portuguese poets wrote some of the most beautiful poems. At the highest peak near old windmills, is a breath-taking 180 degree view of the Algarvian mountains. This will be a day to remember.

In the top ! 4-hour ride in a Land Rover in the lands of the Algarve with a guide who was great, it can be seen that he loves the region and he shares all his knowledge about the history, the culture, the plantations... Big BigUp to Luis! Superb circuit with magnificent viewpoints and visit of typical villages of the Algarve, very good experience we loved it thank you very much!

Mario who was our guide made this trip one of the best experiences I have ever been on, his passion for the region, knowledge of not only local areas but history, politics, plants and people made this trip one to remember! Beautiful sites, experiencing local areas, chatting to local people and learning about and trying local fruits and delicious local jams and drinks in most gorgeous place was unforgettable. I personally enjoyed the knowledge of local plants and their qualities to heal etc it was brilliant and had some exciting moments too with going through the narrow mountain tracks in the jeep, just overall amazing!
