A Granada must do even if you're not a fan of walking tours

Josh was enthusiastic, knowledge, funny and perfect English. Get hot tips on photo locations, tapas and flamenco. A nice small group was easy to manage too. Overall well organised.

Easy, convenient, great way to get a feel for the city prior to tourin

We bought the ticket one day early online. It was easy and cheap ($12 Euro for one day, two people (one senior). When we arrived in Granada we easiliy found the nearest stop of the train. The first one was full, so we waited for the next (maybe 5 minutes) and that one had plenty of room. We first toured the whole route then got off at Alhambra. For the rest of the day we got on and off shopping or touring and then getting back on. We never waited more than 10 minutes and every train had plenty of space after that first one. Yes it's bumpy - yes it's noisy - if you want an airconditioned rubber ride then get an expensive tour. It was very convenient, the map was excellent and the drivers were polite and patient. As always, a little Spanish is very helpful.

Granada City Train 1 or 2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Ticket Reviewed by

Every aspect of the tour was excellent: charming, capable guides.

Both of our guides, the warm, upbeat, smiling young woman from Seville, Eoraida, and the sophisticated Italian guide at La Alhambra, Consuela(?), could not have been better. Clean, comfortable air-conditioned coach, perfect restaurant stops, patient, professional, knowledgable guides. Expensive tour, but good value! Lots of walking. Highly recommend. So much better quality than we expected going by other reviews.

From Seville: Alhambra Palace and Albaycin Tour Reviewed by

I will remember this experience as the highlight of my stay in Granad!

In all my travels, my trip to Granada was a standout experience. The highlight was most definitely the guided tour of the Alhambra. My guide, Hamdi, was a joy to be with and clearly conveyed his knowledge of the Alhambra to his group of English speakers. His knowledge of the history of the Alhambra was impressive and he took the time to answer any questions that came to him. The day itself was perfect weather, blue skies and warm which only added to the experience. Booking ahead was a wise thing to as there were many, many people there on the day. Hamdi was happy to take photos of you with your camera or phone so I now have happy memories of my day at the Alhambra. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Granada.

I can’t imagine seeing the Alhambra any other way.

Our tour guide, Juana, was excellent. She had a great personality and was extremely knowledgeable. She pointed out details that we would have missed if we were self guided. She made history come alive. It was a pleasure to be on her tour.
