Armenia, with its distinctive culture, its beautiful rocky mountains and ancient history is a must-see when traveling in the Caucasus region. Discover the beauty of Northern Armenia on this day trip from Tbilisi, with your tour starting at 9:00AM, after which you will head for the border. From here the landscape will begin to change, as you drive through the narrow gorges of the Debed River in between the high rocky mountains. The tour includes several main sightseeing objects of Northern Armenia, such as the historic Lori region, the fortified monastery of Akhtala, a unique example of wonderfully preserved frescoes from the 11th century and the two UNESCO protected monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat. Very informative and full of history. ALexi my guide is very very knowledgeable of the history of Khakheti. He is very patient and spontaneous in his explanations. The experience from the start to the end was never boring. the programme of the tour ended beautifully in Khareba. From there I learned not only about Georgian wine but also their sweets and traditional bread. I suppose now i understand wine better in the Georgian way. I will never forget this trip. Was all worth it. How the guide showcased the historical sights of Khakheti made the trip so much fun plus yhe comfort accorded to me during the entire journey. what else can i say but big thanks to the friendly.ge team.

This is a great way to see parts of Armenia if you’re in Tbilisi. Very organized, punctual and knowledgeable tour. Our guide was Irakli. Very friendly, we had wonderful conversations. He showed us some nice hidden spots. He took us to an amazing Armenian restaurant. Irakli was very knowledgeable, understanding and just a great guide. It felt like a day spent with a friend. I do recommend this tour to see beautiful views, impressive churches and try great food. You’ll be lucky to have Irakli as your guide.

Our tour guide (Samvel) was a great tour guide... his knowledge and his English were excellent, and he was very attentive to my needs. Our driver was very talented and cautious. We had a great experience, lunch choices were awesome as well as the dinner. Samvel added a few special sites that were not in our itinerary, making the day extra special. It was a wonderful day we will never forget. Highly recommended!!

Had an awesome time. The guide, Irakli, knew so much history about every little thing that I asked about, and he was keen on pointing out what made every location unique. Moreover, he knew all of the best and coolest spots to take pictures from, and the lunch was incredible too. I enjoyed every second of this tour, and I would highly recommend Irakli as a guide.

I cant even describe how amazing my tour. I was a little bit hesitating to go as i was feeling very exhausted from my trip. But no regret. My tour guide is so amazing he took a super amazing photograph for me. A plus for a single traveler! No regret and definitely recommend this company million times!!!
