  • Myvatn Nature Baths Entrance Ticket

    2. Myvatn Nature Baths Entrance Ticket

Myvatn Nature Baths is a traditional and tastefully designed complex offering a completely natural experience that you can enjoy with your day admission ticket. The 2 steam baths are built on top of a geothermal area and the sulfur steam rises up through holes in the floor. The water of the Myvatn Nature Baths is drawn from a borehole that goes 2,500 meters into the ground. The water has a high concentration of minerals, is basic in nature and well suited for bathing. Before or after bathing you can enjoy a light meal and drinks at Café Kvika in a beautiful setting with views of the stunning natural surroundings. You can also make use of the swim-up bar in the baths and enjoy a beer, wine, cider, soda, or glass of sparkling wine in the water.

Clean and well run. The baths are fabulous - especially when the sun is out :) I was lucky with the weather. GetYourGuide app discount was welcome ! It’s good value compared with prices of other thermal baths in Iceland - but still expensive in Uk pound terms.

The guide was terrific, very knowledgeable. We saw multiple whales. Only complaint was the ride back we encountered a lot of waves and the boat was going very fast. Lots of pounding on the seas, with several hits so hard that I injured my back. It’s been a week and I am still experiencing difficulty bending over and walking a lot.
