Full description
After a pickup from your hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya, board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for your first stop, the Ruins of Tulum. Embark on a 45-minute guided tour of the archaeological site with a professional archeologist guide and learn about the history of the Mayans. Feel the magic of the ancient ruins taking in stunning views and then enjoying some free time to explore the site at your own pace.  Next, board your coach again and munch on the provided snacks on the way to the Xtun Cenote. The drive includes some off-roading since the cenote is located in the jungle. Once you arrive, a Mexican buffet-style lunch will be served for you, including Cochinita Pibil ´the pulled pork of Mexico,´ chicken, rice, beans, tortillas, and tortilla chips. Vegetarian options are available upon advance notice. Then it’s time to visit two types of cenotes, stage 1 and stage 2. First, you’ll be walking wandering through the dry stage 2 cenote and be amazed by the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites formations. Following a swim in the wet stage 1 cenote, you’ll be able to snorkel and explore the colorful sea life of the cenote. After your cenote adventure, enjoy a Mexican-style coffee called Café Olla. Time to board the van again to head to Akumal Bay, a perfect place for swimming with sea turtles as they feed on the seagrass in the bay. Put on your provided snorkeling gear — or take your own, if you prefer — and enjoy a snorkeling tour to admire these amazing creatures. Your instructor will guide you through every step of the process to make you feel safe and ensure a unique and fun-filled swim experience. A professional photographer will accompany you throughout the day and capture your beautiful moments. Look over the beautiful photos and purchase your USB with the guide, if you like. Finally, return to the van for transportation back to your hotel to continue having fun in the sun.

It was a perfect mix of all the three tours wewanted to make, in one whole day tour. The guide Ruben was the perfect guide, cunning, helpful and funny and he made the tour even better! The format with a small comfortable van with the small group made it very informal and made us a small “family” which was very nice. A very professional tour added with professional guidande at the Tulum ruins was also a highlight. An over all "must" to anyone who Will get the best of this area in a nutshell, but still seeing and doing things in good time, not missing amything! Really recommended!

Jan Paul was amazing throughout. Family loved the ruins, turtles and especially the cenotes.

I booked this tour because a German-speaking guide was offered (there would have been an identical, cheaper one in English). One day before the trip I was told that the tour would only be in English. Since my English is only mediocre, I unfortunately didn't understand much about the archaeological tour. The introduction to snorkeling - which I've never done before - didn't last a minute and I felt left alone ... After all the rocking on the waves and the rapid off-road ride, some were pretty bad and we were able to eat in the jungle and the cenote Don't enjoy it anymore ... What a shame! The guide and driver were nice and spoke good English. The guide also translated very well for a French couple; only for the Swiss guest it was unfortunately not enough for an interpreter - although offered ...
