The experience was really good. Big boat with plenty of space takes you out to the pontoon. The boat first stops at either Hamilton Island or Daydream Island to let passangers off and then carries on to the pontoon. The trip is about 2.5 hours one way. You have about 4-5 hours on the pontoon. Cash bar onboard and buffet snack and lunch provided which was adequate. Once at the pontoon you are provided with a stinger suit, mask and snorkel for snorkelling. You can pay extra on the day to do diving which we opted for. It was a little bit rushed to gear up as we were the first group to dive that day but the facilities are great and their "moon pool" (a staircase onto a platform) makes it super easy to get ready and comfortable before decending. The dive masters were fantastic, knowledgeable and caring and adhered to all safety protocols and were extremely professional. Recommend you bring your own fins for snorkelling as they are not provided. Unfortunately here are no lockers.

Boat - very friendly and helpful staff - music not too loud (we were traveling with small children) - food good, especially compared to comparable excursions ( fresh fruit in particular is always great) - boat was well equipped - not too many passengers snorkeling - also very nice and helpful staff here (except when my child had to get out of the toilet after snorkeling) - snorkeling area not too small (bigger is of course always nicer ;) ) - good information about the snorkeling area (where, how and how the current is currently is) - Material for snorkeling: - enough suits, etc. available - suits (against nettles), vests and Fossen b in good condition (we had our own snorkels and goggles)

This trip is one of the best things I have ever done in my life. The staff were absolutely amazing informing us educating us on everything from the start to the end of the trip the food was great. the pontoon at the great barrier was amazing. I also decided to do a dive, which, for myself was very frightening, and with the help of a lovely young diver, I got the courage to face my fear, and was one of the best experience ever. I could not highly recommend this whole tour more. Amazing!

It was an exceptional day. We are not disappointed to have chosen this company to realize one of our dreams: snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. We took the extra for the 40 minute Safari. The guide made good comments, but nothing more. we highly recommend this cruise.

Great day out. Suitable for those that want to get wet and those that want to stay dry. Scuba option for complete novices (no dive cert required) at additional cost.
