Totally worth €18. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the first swimming spot. You can go into the water from the boat or overland to a small beach. You stay there for 1.5 hours before continuing to Spinalonga. It was enough for me to drive around the island once, because you can see everything well enough from the boat. Then it goes back towards Agios Nikolaos. There is a second stop, this time just for a swim from the boat. Both have been very beautiful bays. The boat is not crowded, you can find places in the sun and in the shade. The DJ knows exactly when to play more mood and when to play quiet music. If you absolutely want to snorkel, you should get one on the boat in good time, wait a little until the first ones are ready or bring your own equipment. You can buy food and drink on the boat, a small portion of watermelon will be provided. We enjoyed the time!

A lot better than expected! We were apprehensive of it after reading reviews but it turned out to be a great day! A few things I would recommend/ note for next time: the boat does stop a distance from the island and is approx. 5-10 minutes swim depending on ability, the boat supplies life jackets and floats if you aren’t a confident swimmer (I wasn’t!) so the swim really wasn’t that bad in the end. I would take a waterproof phone case/ bag if you want to take anything onto the island (beach towel, camera, shoes, snacks etc.) as whatever you want to take to the island you need to carry on the swim. Definitely take flip flops/ sandals to wear on the beach as rocks are quite sore on the feet. Overall a brilliant day out and feel like I stroked an item of a bucket list I didn’t even know I had!

What a fun day! Super nice guidance and learned a lot about both Crete and Chrissi. Lovely lunch on the boat and a nice dive, the only thing that could have been improved was the warning with the swim about the things you could come across and watch out for. Because there were a lot of lionfish swimming and a lot of sea urchins! No one was informed about this. Furthermore, a thick top, definitely recommended

The Golden beach is the most breathtaking, wonderful and incredible beach i have seen in europe. Truly stunning! ALL Shades of blue

Very cool trip with very chilled music. Enough time to swim at the two spots! Very awesome experience!
