Venice: Venetian Lagoon Tour and Galleon Dinner

1. Venice: Venetian Lagoon Tour and Galleon Dinner

Discover the serenity of the enchanting city of Venice with a dinner cruise aboard a Venetian Galleon. Watch the city's lights reflecting on the water as you savor a gourmet meal while sipping on wine and Aperitivo. Pick from Central Deck seating and stern/prow seating. Meet your host in front of the Museo Navale in Venice and, once on board, the crew will lead you to your reserved table and offer you a delicious glass of Prosecco DOC. Sit by candlelight at an elegant table, and eat with a fine and well-finished service. Book the Central Deck for panoramic windows with exceptional views, or choose the prow/stern areas with tables for 4 that offer a more intimate atmosphere. On the prow, there are two small portholes at the top and there is no view of the outside. Select to sit at the stern which is connected to the kitchen/bar and has small windows for a partial view of the outside. Couples might be seated at one shared table (however, the tables are big enough to guarantee each couple privacy). Be swept away by the old-fashioned charm of a boat as you immerse yourself in in the magic of the Venetian Lagoon. At dusk, the Galleon will slowly leave shore and head into the northern lagoon. Take in views of the minor islands such as Sant’Erasmo, and San Francesco del Deserto. Taste a variety of delightful specialties prepared by the onboard chef while you sail towards the Venetian Arsenal and then past the islands of Vignole, Mazzorbo and the artistic Murano. Circumnavigate Burano which is famous for its picturesque, colorful houses and the Leaning Bell Tower. Sail back to the San Marco basin and past the island of San Giorgio. Head on to Venice and the cruise for a spectacular view of the San Marco basin. Disembark at the Museo Navale.

What people are saying about Adriatic Sea

The directions irritated us a bit, as the ship only came to the quay shortly before departure and we weren't sure if we were in the right place. We booked early and got a seat on deck. Since it was getting a little cooler in the evening, one side was covered with a transparent tarpaulin to protect against the wind. The tables were set beautifully, the order of the dishes (everything the sea has to offer) was excellent. The dinner was accompanied by atmospheric music and you glide through the location. Finally, the ship stops for a while at St. Mark's Square with atmospheric music. A very emotional impression and conclusion. Kudos to the staff! Very competent, very attentive, very friendly and also up for a joke. Just perfect!! Any time! Maybe next time by day.

This experience was absolutely wonderful! Our food restrictions were taken into account, and we were given full bottles of wine and prosecco for no additional cost. The food was delicious and it was so cool to sail by so many different islands at night. Eating on this classy candlelit boat was such a romantic experience (especially since they had lovely music playing softly as we ate). Highly recommend if you are looking for something special to do with a loved one!

Amazing experience. Food was fantastic and plentiful. The ambiance, sites and setting was equally great. We were in the stern and wondered whether we would get to see much. However we were able to go up to the upper deck and the views were brilliant. In fact we needed to walk around to let the food go down.

We had a wonderful and very romantic evening in Venice. The food was great, including a bottle of Prosecco and a bottle of red wine. Service very friendly and attentive. Just great!

what to say ... excellent food, incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the atmosphere halfway between elegant and pirate. Everything was perfect!
