Fantastic!!!! Ashleigh had an encyclopaedic memory of all the wineries plus Adelaide and places en route. As a freelance writer I wish I’d taken notes - next time definitely. The wineries were all very interesting with some great wines and lunch - best vegetarian lunch I’ve had really delish and we had plenty of time to enjoy same All round I had a wonderful trip and will definitely be booking a trip or two (or more) Hanforf is the first when it’s safe i,e. no wildfires around. Thank you very much Ashleigh and everyone for a marvellous birthday Can Highly recommend
My partner ad I recently did this tour and we were absolutely blown away, our first trip to the Barossa Valley and it was truly memorable. Our tour guide and driver Dallas was fantastic and really made the day for us as much as the beautiful food and wine did also. Each of the 4 locations we stopped to taste wine were brilliant, only negative for the day was probably the wolf blass stop, this felt very commercialised and the tasting was really rushed.
We would highly recommend this tour for people who like small groups, boutique wineries and who want a fun and educational day learning about the region, the wineries and the difference in wine varieties. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Matt and came away lovers of red wine, relaxed and informed. The lunch stop was spot on and the wineries chosen perfect to our needs. Stay away from the big groups and the big wineries. This is the tour for you.
My fiancé and I had the BEST time!! We had done this same tour 3 years earlier, and Russell was our tour guide both times. He was an exceptional guide, and navigated the valley and the groups questions with ease. He knows everything there is to know about wine and the Barossa. It was an excellent day to say the least, and no doubt we will be back again!
Thanks so much to Dallas for an amazing full day of laughs, knowledge, going to the most amazing wineries, stopping at the whispering wall (Amazing), and the site seeing spot for photos with the barossa as a back drop. Def a great group of people also from all over. Highly recommend as you wont regret it. Cheers x
