Upon arriving at Tres Palos Lagoon, you will board a private, typical motorboat to begin a breathtaking exploration of the lagoon where many exotic species of tropical birds call this sanctuary their home. See mangrove tunnels, a natural floating garden of wild flowers, visit a turtle preservation camp, adopt a baby turtle, release it to the ocean and much more. The tour will head south along the coast in route to Tres Palos Lagoon, approximately 45 minutes from your hotel. Before getting there, the tour will make a stop at a Sea Turtle Conservation Camp where, after being explained about their mission to preserve this endangered species, you will proceed to a baby turtle liberation. On arrival at the lagoon, you will board a typical motorboat for a cruise of no less than 1-hour through the lagoon. This sanctuary will be home to many species of exotic birds. See mangrove tunnels, virgin lagoons and a natural garden of wild flowers during the cruise. This will be a rare opportunity to explore this type of tropical nature preserve. One of these stalls had a cage full of large live bugs, whose purpose You will prefer not to ask about.  Of all the places you visit on this trip to Acapulco, you will be glad to have seen the Mercado.

Very knowledgeable driver and guide: Santiago and Rudy. Both had great English language skills which we needed since our Spanish is very limited! The tour gave us a good first impression of the city of Acapulco, just what we were hoping to get. We also got great information on the history of Acapulco.
