What people are saying about 9/11 Tribute Museum
My wife and I had our cruise altered since it started 4 days after 9/11. It went through NY harbor but many stops were changed. But we still had a full day to explore the city so we walked to the Battery and witnessed first hand the recovery efforts that were being made. Empty dump trucks lined up bumper to bumper driving south, fully loaded dump trucks driving north full of blast residue. Revisiting that site brought back all those sad memories but bouyed us with hope. Every American should go there so they can experience the devastation first hand.
It was absolutely wonderful! Loved the whole thing....really enjoyed the audio tape and being able to learn so much on your own. We thought everything was well done and spent 3+ hours there. It was very well thought out how it was all put together and displayed for us to see, hear and feel! Amazing experience!
Very emotional and allows those who weren't there that day to feel what was truly a horrifying and sad day for the world. Makes you remember when we all came together and did not have differences, unlike today. RIP to all of those lost that day and those first responders and recovery workers lost afterwards.
Comprehensive account of the attack, actual surviving artifacts, tasteful and very respectful not only to towers’ victims, but also those who responded immediately and during the post-months with resulting health related conditions
