I absolutely loved this trip! Guides at both the Salt Mine and Auschwitz Museum were A*! Very knowledgable, spoke clearly and had a very engaging manner. Our driver was also really lovely and helpful - very informative, good at keeping the day organised and getting everyone off to the right activities. Overall the two experiences in one day, plus transport was very good value for money. I would have given the whole experience a 5 star review. However, the only negative was around pick up times. I had booked the 8am bus but was booked on to the 6am bus which I couldn’t make. The contact phone number and email had no response so I was worried I would miss out on the experience. I turned up at 8am anyway and the 8.30am bus driver kindly put me on the 8.45am bus. Needless to say this was stressful and this review could be very different if the 8.30am driver hadn’t helped me out. I don’t want to put anyone off as the tours and the driver were brilliant but be aware on the start time.

Both the tours were so interesting and lots to learn. The guides at all the tours had wealths of information and happy to answer questions which the group may have had. The whole day was an awful lot of walking so I would recommend people who are wanting to see both to do the salt mine on one day Auschwitz-Birkenau on a separate day just because it is a really tiring day but I would 10/10 recommend to do both!

Fantastic day. We booked the half private tour, only 10 of us made for a much more comfortable journey! Wear warm clothes (layers) the steps at the salt mine will warm you right up and the snow for the 2hr walk around the camps needs thermals! Our tour guide at Auschwitz was incredibly informative, kind and knowledgeable about the history, not only the mainstream stories but some great insight into the lives of the people, survivors and recommended some brilliant books. (She had short grey hair, little hippy vibe, green trousers, blue jacket and a red backpack - I forgot her name!) Lots of access to grab a coffee, snack or use the bathrooms (accept the second camp stop) and they kindly tell you when you can take pictures and when you can’t. 100% recommend for a mixture of architecture and history.
