The first stop on the trip is Green World Farms. Just a heads up, the bus does not allow coffee or drinks onboard from pick up time until we get to Green World Farms. The bus drops off people for the kayaking/paddle boarding first and then secondly drops off people for the waterfall hike. We chose to go to Waimea Falls. When you’re dropped off, there is no guided tour and you just walk to the falls yourself (0.75 miles there and 0.75 miles back). The waterfall is beautiful and is refreshingly cold. You also have to wear a life jacket (provided near falls) in order to go into the water. I would recommend bringing water shoes if you have them as you need to climb down some rocks to get into the water. The bus driver gives you a time to get back to the entrance to be picked up again (1.5 hrs total). We had lunch at Fumi’s which is cash only so make sure to bring cash ($15 per plate). The garlic butter shrimp is delicious! Overall, an enjoyable day!

Ian, our tour guide, was freaking excellent. He made the tour SO good, made us and the whole tour group no matter what age, feel so comfortable. The tour exceeded mine and my husband's expectations. We stopped at a coffee farm first which had a great coffee shop for drinks and souvenirs. The Waimea hike and waterfall were breathtaking. The hike is super accessible to everyone regardless of ability. The shrimp truck stop we went to was amazing; we ordered twice. We went to a north shore beach which was beautiful. We ended the tour with the macadamia nut farm which was so cute and had macadamia and coffee samples. Honestly if we could have the option to pick our tour guide again we would pick Ian. He really made the trip enjoyable, was so enthusiastic about the tour and life in general, he kept the whole bus laughing, and he taught us so much about Hawaiian history.

It is a water hike or kayaking/paddle board adventure. We went with the Kayaking/ Paddleboarding adventure. The rest of the tour is a city tour. Ian our guide was fantastic from the second we got on for the entire 8 hour tour. I recommend this tour if you want to learn about local restaurants or beaches. Ian is an excellent source of reference
