This trip was amazing. We booked the none guided tour however the lad that drove us there gave us so much information. He explained everything and took us through the whole history. Very very good at his job, he even drove us round to other spots where the trains would carry the people and soldiers were based. 10/10 would recommend a harrowing experience but definitely worth it

This unguided tour was very good, allowing you to move at your own pace. The guide on the bus (not the guide at the sites, as there isn't one) was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The tour bus, however, wasn't really appropriate for a full group of grown adults. If you're more than average size, the seats may not be all comfortable. There needs to be better coordination between the tour operators at the pick-up point. Operators need to be clearly identified with their tour company. As it stands, a usually unmarked bus arrives, a guide gets off and starts calling names. But you've got no idea what company the guide is from, yours or another. Busses and guides should be identifiable.

Good value for money. Just for info, this is not a guided tour. You are taken to both camps and shown exactly what to do and told what places to visit then the guide lets you do it at your own pace and waits in the car park for everyone to return by the set time. I preferred this way, we did see large groups of guided tours but they seemed to never fit into the same room as the guide and we preferred walking round our own pace and seeing everything we wanted to see. We were given plenty time to do so and a guide book also.
