    Get back to nature on a day trip to Khao Sok National Park and Cheow Lan Lake. Experience one of the oldest rainforests in the world, and spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying a traditional Thai buffet and riding kayaks on the lake.  Start your adventure bright and early with pickup from your hotel at around 6:15 AM. Witness the interesting views of local life along the way to Khao Sok National Park. Upon arrival at Cheow Lan Lake, board a traditional long-tail boat and take in the beautiful panoramic views.  Enjoy a nice walk through the jungle, then hop on a bamboo raft at a hidden lagoon. Next, take an exciting cave exploration through the ancient Coral Cave, dating back 10,000 years.  At the far end of the lake, savor a delicious and authentic Thai buffet lunch at a floating restaurant — the resort with the best views of Cheow Lan Lake. After lunch, spend some free time self-paddle kayaking around the emerald lake. Relax with refreshing drinks and seasonal fruits by the pool before the return trip back to your hotel.

    We were told we would be picked up at our hotel at 06:30. On the evening before the tour, we were informed by phone that we would be picked up at 6:00 a.m. So we were ready in the lobby at 6 a.m. the next morning. At 6:30 a.m., when no one picked us up, we called. The lady on the phone apologized and apparently the car was "defective". But we were probably forgotten… . We were picked up at 7:00 a.m.... It started an hour late. Arrived in the national park we were warmly welcomed. Our tour guide was great and it ended up being a great trip. Food was good too, lake and cave too.

    I loved everything about this trip and it was such a breath-taking place to visit. The van that picked us up was comfortable, the boat ride was super scenic, we had staff attending to our needs, the guide was super knowledgeable about caves, lunch was delicious and the resort 500Rai was just so relaxing. I really enjoyed the trek and soon after jumping into the cool emerald water for a swim. This was the highlight of our Khao Lak trip.

    I really recommend this activity for a day in the national park! This is the opportunity to take advantage of it to 1000% through many activities: trekking in the jungle, bamboo rafting to visit a cave, boat to discover the park, swimming pool also to relax at the end of the day and canoe if we want it. We had a great guide Miss Pooky, who made us enjoy a great day! Thanks again !
