Full description

Discover the scenery and historic landmarks around Lake Kawaguchi on a guided tour from Tokyo. Admire the views of Mt. Fuji as you see traditional houses, stunning pagodas, and the colorful flowers and plants of Oishi Park.

Climb aboard the shuttle bus or join the tour at the Shinjuku departure point, and set off towards the Mt. Fuji area. On clear days, you will already be able to see Mt. Fuji from afar during the bus ride. Make the first stop at one of Japan's most iconic spots: Arakurayama Sengen Park. Admire the picture-perfect view of the 5 symbolic pagodas with Mt. Fuji in the background. Continue on from Mt. Arakurayama and proceed to the Kawaguchiko craft park right next to Kawaguchi Lake. If you prefer, take time to enjoy your lunch and walk around the lake as you take in the scenic view of Mt. Fuji's reflection on the water. After this, head to Oishi park which offers seasonal scenery with various types of flowers. Finally, stop by Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba which is located on the banks of Lake Saiko. Take a stroll through the village and marvel at the houses with thatched roofs which will give you a glimpse into life in Japan in the olden days. Conclude the tour at 6:15 PM when you will be dropped off in Shinjuku.

Guide Wang Hui was excellent. Very detailed and dedicated. Responsible too! Bus driver was equally friendly & punctual. The only thing was during booking, there was no other option other than "beef" meal & personally I cannot take beef. So get your guide should provide options for people with dietary requirement. Understand you would like to sell us the highest possible package but need to be more sensitive towards religion & conditions.

Excellent private tour. Our driver, Mr. Yokoyama, was extremely polite and kind (he even got us a gift on one of the legs of the tour — a carton of grapes famous in that part of Japan). It is a great tour to see a few spots around Mt Fuji - however please note that you don’t actually go to the mountain. The scenery was amazing during November (the trees were all kinda of colors).

Tour was fantastic! Naow was a great guide - informative, kind, great English, very helpful and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves such as by being our personal photographer!! We were very lucky with the weather and had great views - would recommend checking the weather in advance to booking. Ps. At the lake, get bento boxes or the like from a 7 eleven and enjoy the views of the mountain whilst eating!! Better than the restaurant!
