My husband and I had one full day in Rome to see what we could, so we opted for the Colosseum/Vatican bundle. We started our morning at the Colosseum with Maria, and she was nothing short of amazing. Full of incredible facts and insights, without her, I don’t think we would have been able to see the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill through the lens of the Roman people from centuries ago. The tour moved at a good pace while delivering quite a bit of detail - which is a hard balance to achieve. We had about 1:15 to grab lunch and get to the Vatican which was plenty for us. We were with Antonio in the afternoon for the Vatican tour, and again - his depth and breadth of knowledge on everything there was amazing. The Vatican museums are A LOT, and if you want to spend a lot of time with each piece of art, the full day tour would be better - but if you only have a day like we did - this tour was perfect. Thank you Maria & Antonio!

Everything was great. Knowledgeable and personable tour guides. The only issues is the amount of time between the morning and afternoon events. You have about an hour to get across the city and get lunch before four afternoon tour begins. I would suggest packing snacks or a lunch so that you aren’t late for the afternoon start time.

The day was excellent. We met at the Colosseum. The guide was easy to find. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was done at a good pace. In the afternoon we went to the Vatican. Again we had a good guide. It was a busy day but we only had one day to see as much as we could.
