You get to see some temples and enjoy a little bit of downtown Kyoto

Maybe expectations were overly high for the price charged, you get to see some temples, enjoy a tea break, and ride around the streets of Kyoto. If your time is limited then this might be a good way to spend it, but it would be nice to hear a little more of the history —for that price I would cheerfully have swapped one temple for Nijo Castle (I went later on my own, squeezing out time). So maybe modify the tour so you get to see a little religion/culture and a little history?

Amazing guide and great spots totally recommended

Ross is a terrific guide with a perfect blend of historical knowledge,insights into the Japanese psyche plus he was easy to converse with. I loved the whole tour and have recommended him to everyone I met in Kyoto. If only all tours were like this!!

A great way to experience Kyoto, on electric bikes.

Sean, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to neighborhoods, shrines, temples and gardens we wouldn't have experienced otherwise.
