My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains full day private tour

3. My Son Sanctuary and Marble Mountains full day private tour

My Son Sanctuary has long been the last relic to recall the once-flourishing kingdom of Cham in central Vietnam. Many tourists think that My Son is similar to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. But the truth is not so. My Son is smaller but even older than Angkor Wat. And more specifically, My Son is the holy land of the Cham people in Vietnam. Therefore, each relic will have its own unique cultural, artistic, and spiritual beliefs. Marble Mountain was the masterpiece of nature that gave them to Da Nang - the central land of Vietnam. The harmony of the natural ecosystem has combined with spiritual life, so this place is getting more and more popular every year! Follow me to discover My Son in particular as well as the religious customs of Hindus in general and listen to stories, legends, and myths about Marble Mountains - The holy land of Buddhism

Fabulous tour & just what I needed on my first full day in Hoi An. Really enjoyed it and learnt so much about this wonderful historic Vietnamese city and all thanks to my excellent tour guide Huy. He was brilliant and it was apparent from the outset just how proud he was of Hoi An his home city and Vietnam his native country. What a wonderful young man is Huy. I travel a lot and have used Get Your Guide many times particularly within Europe and Huy is the best guide that I have ever had. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Huy never mind having him as my tour guide - if I could give him more than 10 out of 10, I would.

Great way to beat the crowds :)

We were not lucky with the weather - the sky opened and it was just raining and raining... put the negative part aside it was magical - the park was ours. Our group with just 4 crazy ones had a great fun. Obviously beeing a rainy day it was no sunrise, which would be magical outthere for sure. Leaving the park busses and busses arrived and we were so happy not to be on those busses :)

I went in the first week of April. Unfortunately there was no sunrise but we had a beautiful rainy morning instead. There were only 5 tourists all up when we were there - assuming rain detered others. I think the rain also gave the site another view - bricks were a different shade, plants were this lush green..

A little piece of history

I found this tour excellent for both the value (€14 approx) and for information shared by our guide. Plenty of time to take pictures and to explore the site. We were the first tour of the day and this made it feel very exclusive. I would highly recommend this tour

Great tour

It is a bit early, but you will avoid hot weather and have spectacular view.
