Great Day with perfect weather. Even if skydiving in Queenstown is the most expensive skydive in NZ, it was definitely worth it. The view is amazing. A lot of Chinese customer, but everybody was friendly. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take your own cameras with you. (I was allowed to that in the USA) Pricing for photos are too expensive. I would recommend the skydive to everybody who’s short on time. If not, go skydiving in Abel Tasman or Franz Josef, where you have a great view too and better prices.
The entire experience went very smoothly. We were picked up from queenstown after each person was weighed on a scale and assigned with pilots. The view at the starting point is also quite nice. The pilots were friendly and very encouraging. Jan was a great pilot, explained clearly each step and gave me a sense of security during the flight.
Great experience start to finish highly recommend to anyone going to the area. Operators where knowledgeable and helpful through the whole thing. My son was in a wheelchair and nothing was an issue absolutely awesome.
It was a must do! The view is gorgeous you can see everything. The guides were amazing, they were fun and made you feel safe in the air. I highly recommend you try it.
It’s a very great experience with a nice coach. He taught me how to control the flight into different direction. Finally, he let me control it by myself for a while.
