During your visit, you will take a walking tour through the labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, and past the colorful courtyards and mosaics for which Lindos is famous. Ancient Lindos was the most important town on the island, and has been nhabited for 5,000 years. The Acropolis is home to the ruins of a Byzantine fort and a Greek temple from centuries before. You can also glimpse the Bay of St Paul from the very top of the Acropolis. It is said he washed ashore here during a storm and brought Christianity to the island.
